What did you say?

What did you say? That is what Bud has been saying recently on the phone to Faith. As I have been around her more recently with him in Georgia it seems like it is called mommy talk. I can clearly understand her. Since she can't say "how are you", I decided to teach her a few words in spanish that are easier to say. As we sat at the table the other night I told her say "Hola". Well that was easy enough. How about "que tal?" Yep she said that clear as could be too. Since she can say two phrase words better than three, she decided to try it out on her daddy that night on the phone. I didn't prompt her she just said it. Now if I tell her "Hola, Faith." She replies with "Hola, que tal?" Bien, I say. Y tu? I ask her. Asi Asi. I thought that I was going to die from laughter. Of course I taught her these words but it is neat that she has remembered the order they come in. Here is a little video for those of you who have a hard time believing me.
