What a wonderful way to end a week learning about Easter. Faith has made crosses, Easter baskets, Easter eggs, and cards to celebrate our Savior Jesus Christ. It has been a full week that started last Sunday with Palm Sunday. Faith made her own palm tree with paint and paper. Learned about Passover on Tuesday and Good Friday and Jesus's crucification on Friday. With her bunny ears on and beautiful Easter dress on today, Faith couldn't be any more ready for Easter this year. What is different about Easter this year? She understands the story of Jesus. She understands the story of the empty Easter egg and the story of the Easter bunny. She has her eggs all colored which she did all by herself this year. She was even more excited to put them onto the porch last night for the Easter bunny to pick up and hide this morning. The Easter bunny doesn't bring her treats though. We have told her that we do the baskets and plastic eggs. It is so much more fun for her to know that there is this little curious Easter bunny that comes out Easter Sunday and sees all these eggs. He decides it would be funny to hide all of them for the children to find. A most exciting day is coming today as we get ready for a day filled with eggs and fun. Happy Easter.
