Faith has been in vacation bible school all week. We both look forward to this week all summer. Our reasons are different of course. This year has been quite special for Faith. Knowing it is our last year for VBS at this church, she has brought along a friend, Ryleigh. Now Ryleigh is a good little girl with a mom who knows the benefits of a week long church program. I'm so grateful that she is able to enjoy it with Faith. So far this week they have learned some fun new songs, made some sand art, made a surfer girl, watched Veggie Tales, and ran some fun water relay races. I know she is learning about Jesus. I hear her songs she sings softly in the van. On Sunday church typically puts out a copy of the CD for all to purchase. We wouldn't miss it. We have donated canned goods for SERVE and placed them in a large canoe. Will it get filled by weeks end? I hope so. They work so hard. Friday is the end of the VBS picnic. Champ and I will staying in the nursery for a little bit so we can sit with both girls and eat. It is my prayer that Champ will be in good spirits and not too cranky.
