Every morning is playground time here on the island. Michigan literally has a different park to visit each day. So far within a 10 minute driving distance, we have encountered 5. Last night Faith enjoyed a 1/4 mile pony ride at one of the parks close by. What was even better was that the ride was only $5. Cheap and fun! Faith has climbed on a human size spider web, rock climbed across a playground, climbed trees, jumped from rock to rock in a game of don't fall on the grass, bicycle paths as far as the eye can see, monkey bars good for flipping over on, suspension bridge to pretend to be the grumpy old troll, horses, animal shelter, slides, tire swings, and so much more. Of course we all need time for fresh air and lately the mornings have been in the upper 60's for a temperature. Fall is just around the corner and I look forward to the cool days of wearing jeans, t-shirt and jean jacket.
